Sarah Gillis graduated with a B.S. in Business from Colorado State University and earned her law degree from University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
After law school she clerked for the Honorable Robert L. McGahey in Denver District Court in both civil and criminal courtrooms where she gained exceptional insight into civil litigation, the rules of civil procedure, motions practice, and jury selection.
Sarah used her clerkship experience at local law firms practicing in insurance defense litigation in multiple areas including construction defect, medical malpractice and real estate disputes.
Ms. Gillis went onto to become in-house counsel for a national insurance company where she litigated hundreds
of cases though mediation and trial preparation. She successfully litigated dozens of cases at trial resulting in
wins for her clients.
Sarah is always going out of her way to put her clients at ease during what can be a very stressful time and process.
Ms. Gillis is a Colorado native enjoying the outdoors and mountains with her husband and 3 daughters. She enjoys skiing, playing + coaching soccer, paddle boarding, hiking, running, cooking + baking, cheering on the Denver Broncos,
and spending time with her family.

Prepared and litigated dozens of cases through to trial in small claims court resulting in judgment in favor of clients and costs awarded and collected.

Conducted hundreds of depositions including expert medical witnesses, expert engineering witnesses, police officer witnesses, expert construction witnesses, lay witnesses, and party witnesses.

Succeeded in written and oral Motions to Dismiss and Motions for Summary Judgment granted in the client's favor.

Handled dozens of hearings regarding settlements in probate court.
